  • What is your philosophy?

    I am here to listen, support, and guide - no matter how you are feeding your baby. I aim to provide evidence-based information and recommendations, tailored to your needs and goals. You are the expert on your baby!

    I use HIPAA-compliant charting and communication to ensure your privacy. I aim to be inclusive. Please communicate any special considerations I may need to know to ensure you have a safe and respectful experience.

  • How many sessions will we need?

    It depends on your situation. Many issues take time to improve, and require multiple visits. Others may improve immediately. I often refer to other practitioners as well - bodyworkers, pediatric dentists, or other therapists that may be supportive. I believe in a team appoach!

  • Do you take insurance?

    I accept some insurance plans. I am a certified out of network provider with Tricare. I cannot guarantee coverage and you may have copays, deductibles, or cost-sharing.

    Most private insurance plans will cover up to 6 lactation visits (including prenatal consultation). Medicaid/Medicare plans do not reimburse for private lactation. If you have questions, feel free to e-mail me!

  • What if I need to cancel?

    I require 24 hours notice to cancel or there is a $50 fee. If you or anyone in your home is sick, you may cancel or reschedule free of charge. Please e-mail me if that is the case!

  • What is your travel radius?

    I do not charge a travel fee, and tend to stay within Baltimore City/County. If you live elsewhere and need in-person support, I am happy to refer you!

  • Do you take any infectious disease precautions?

    The last thing you want when you have a newborn is il!ness I practice hand hygiene when in your home and I wear a KN95 mask to protect you and your baby. I also stay up to date with my vaccinations.
